The final squads for the 2009 Koru Tour to the Australia Junior Country Cup in Albury, New South Wales, from January 7-18 have been confirmed. In total, 110 players from around the country will take part in the eight-day tournament as part of New Zealand’s development squads, the Korus and Keas.

The Shuffle Offence

The shuffle offence was a revolutionary offence when it was introduced at the University of Oklahoma in the 1950s. Since it has been adapted and transformed by coaches, but can still struggle against effective zone defence. Coach Al Westover, who guided the Melbourne Tigers to the 2007-08 Australian NBL title, runs through the Tigers zone specific high-post shuffle offence.
