Mike McHugh's Defensive Transition

Current Tall Ferns coach Mike McHugh has previously coached the Canberra Cannons in the Aussie WNBL, at the AIS and led the Wellington Saints to the 2003 New Zealand National Basketball League title. While avoiding turnovers and good shot selection are friends of great defence, but those do not always happen. McHugh stresses communication and organisation are the keys to good transition defence.
