Cluster Camp Registration
Basketball New Zealand is calling for registration for the first of four development cluster camps, which will be held at five locations around the country on May 17-18. The cluster camps are a key part of BBNZ’s player, coach and support staff development pathway. The camps participants must be identified and nominated by a BBNZ coach or endorsed association coach.

A severely depleted Tall Fern squad gave their world champion rivals something to think about before falling 60-80 in the second of two “friendly” games at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. Nuggets, Pistons, Heat Win
The Appliance Shed Harbour Heat led for only four seconds in Nelson but it was the four seconds that counted most. Centre Tim Behrendorff scored the go-ahead basket with four ticks remaining, giving the Heat their first lead of the game as they held on for a 68-67 against the CPS Nelson Giants in round six of the Dominion Finance NBL.

Four teams worked overtime, literally, on Friday night in the Dominion Finance NBL. A Troy McLean three as time expired sent the game into overtime, where the Century City Wellington Saints won 105-100 over the Appliance Shed Harbour Heat, while the Youthtown Auckland Stars defeated Devon Dynamos Taranaki 93-90 in overtime.
